How to make a pen for cards or scrapbooking
Ebossing pen
Soft mat or pad
#6 die from nesting rectangles by QuicKutz/Lifestyle Crafts

Step 1:

First you cut a rectangle (8.8cm x 3.7cm) with the #6 die from the nesting rectangles set using light brown or vanilla cardstock.

Step 2:
Draw lines like shown in the pic, right and left 1cm distance to the edge. Then above a horizontal line with 1.5 cm distances to the top. In the middle make 2 new lines right and left with 0,5cm distance. Then connect point A to point B with a bent line and a great bent line from C - C at the top. Color the C - C line with the future color of the pen. Now cut at an angle with the scissor from D to C on the left side. On the right side cut out the square /triangle D-B-C.  Picture with number 2 within/or above.

Step 3:
Emboss the 4 lines in the middle and fold them.

Step 4:
Fold the two 1cm-stripes backward and glue them together.

Step 5:
Finally make the tip of the pen, adhere he triangle B-A-C to the other side.
You can stain the pen with Ranger Ink Distress for the color of your pen.
Now you have made it, your first own pen for cards or scrapbooking!  :)

Step 1
You only need a piece of paper/design paper, scissors and a pencil.
Step 2
Draw a spiral and it does not have to be perfect!!
Step 3
Cut out the spiral and it does not have to be perfect.  The rose will be more beautiful if it’s not perfect.
Step 4
Just scrunch the spiral.
Step 5
Unroll and roll the flower back up starting with longest end.
Step 6
When its rolled up it will look like this.
Step 7
To make different sizes you draw a bigger or smaller spiral.  Repeat steps 1-7

Jaimie Ramsey

I am a 32 year old, Mother to Emily (6 years old) and Wife to Angus, and I’m passionate about scrapbooking and cardmaking.
When I am not crafting I’m a manager for Australia’s oldest and most respected financial services organization, AMP.
I find scrapbooking and card making gives me a creative outlet and release from the everyday, and allows me to share my passion with other likeminded women.  I have made many lifelong friendships through my craft and love every minute of it!
For me, scrapping is about recording special moments for my daughter to remember and teaching her about the joys of craft & the special friendships you make along the way.

Emilia Stanojcic

I am a mother to 3 gorgeous boys and am married to the most patient, understanding and loving husband in the world. I have been doing crafts (many mediums) for at least 10 years but really love off the page projects.  I live on the outskirts of Canberra, Australia and love to travel.

Sabine Schroll
My Name is Sabine, I’m 38 years old, married, two girls (2 and 6 years) and I'm from Bavaria, near Munich.
I've been crafting all my life.  About 4 years ago I started making cards and the last 2 years experimenting with 3D cards and stamps.

The card base was cut using Spellbinders Labels 17. The largest die was
place slightly above the fold of an A2 card so that the fold would remain.

Flowers were cut using the dies from the Quickutz REV-0250-S Sunflowers
and adhered to the card by running the pieces through a Xyron.

DOUBLE LOOPS-Martha Stewart Scallop Edge & Corner Punch
Making this card is how I feel children enjoy their last days of summer and holidays before they have to go back to school.
On the base of the card I put a single color and patterned paper.  The stamp is mounted with foam pads.  The grass was cut with the die from QuicKutz/Lifestyle Crafts and also mounted with foam pads.  The border was punched with the Martha Stewart Scallop Edge Punch.  I cut some flowers with the QuicKutz/Lifestyle Crafts dies and arranged on the card.
